Does anyone else get hypnotized by the Shopping Channel or makeup reviews? I swear, particularly at night I order stuff that I don't really need. Especially when they say, "Only two left at these prices". Must be boredom or something.

I have never bought things from tne Shopping Channel because I believe it will waste a lot of time if you want to make a refund.

I love the Shopping Channel. Their refund policy makes trying products so much easier. I never feel like I'm stuck with the item if I didn't like it. I get my Cellex-C products and even jewellery from there.

I bought quite a few things off TSC. Their showstopper or blockbuster price is just too hard to resist.

That's the power of e-commerce advertising for you! I got the same lip stick in three different shades of pink and now i don't know why I need that many.

I just replied to another topic about shopping on TSC. Well guess what? I was hypnotized again! I ordered a show stopper special without investigating. I just read not so good reviews. There were only a few left and I had to be one of the "special viewers" to take advantage of this once a year or once only special. I must be insane. I'm hoping I'll love the products. Ojon hair and skin stuff.
Lammie, have you ever returned anything to TSC? Is it expensive or difficult?

It is hypnotizing, I ordered silverware without paying too much attention to the details. It was a great price $99 for 120 pieces of cutlery. When I got them they had tacky christmas decorations on them, so they are only suitable during the holiday season. It was part of their Christmas in July special.Duh! Nevertheless I use them all year round, but people will comment on them having christmas decorations on them when they are over:):)

I've never had a problem with returning products to TSC (even if I've opened and tried the products). They're very quick with their refunds too. The money is refunded to your credit card usually in within a week. It's not expensive (you just have to pay for the return shipping).

Hi, I am new to this forum so be gentle. I've shopped with HSN (Home Shopping Network) and QVC. I stopped using either of them because I recognized that I was an impulse buyer. Occasionally, I will check the clearance sales for cosmetics, but I avoid all their *special* specials. I found that the quality of specials was less.

Oops, I forgot to mention that when you call HSN about returning an item, the operator will try to talk you out of the return. They will even go so far as to credit your account with a portion of the price so that you will keep the item. That may be a way to get a discount -- hummmm? The Shopping Channel is a sister channel of HSN -- owned by the same corporation.

I need help!! I just bought the Dr. Ho elctric muscle jolter thingy!! It was either that or eat the bag of chips that was tempting me. I need an intervention. I figure that everytime I'm tempted by late night snacking I can electrocute myself.

Oh Pips, you have made my day! The Dr. Ho jolter thingy has always looked soooo painful to me. Mental Picture: Person reaches for chips/cake/cookies/candy/etc. and their body starts to jerk spastically -- the new electrocution diet! ROTFL!!

I kinda have a natural resistance to TV shopping channels - always suspect there is some trick.

Well, I retuned the DR. Ho thing. No questions asked. It was painful! and I still ate the chips. My latest was some steam mop and silverware cleaner plate. They made it seem like the floor and silverware practically cleans itself. Maybe I can give myself facials with the steam mop. I did see Stila coming up this week. My poor charge card. I shouldn't watch late night t.v. The worst yet was the Ojon big brown ball of goo! What a weird thing.

I ordered the Heys 20" xcase Exotic Luggage and waiting for the thing to arrive.

Now I'm anxiously awaiting the return of Cellex-C (Oct 16th) and BareMinerals (Oct 12th).

I'm stimulating the economy but depleting my savings. :(

Pips, you're hilarious! Yeah, I get all 'ohhhh, hexa-peplide technology...' when Aloette comes on. They make it sound like it's almost free, for only $80, ohhhhh showstopper!
